ICeGaN® Motor Drive Evaluation Kits

Cambridge GaN Devices has partnered with Qorvo to present two evaluation kits designed for applications that require compact and high-efficiency motor control systems, including white goods, compressors, pumps, industrial fans and home automation markets.
PAC5556AEVK2 supports 240 mOhm CGD devices for up to 400 W peak power.
- Easily replace conventional MOSFETs with GaN HEMTs
- No heatsink or fan required, reducing system size
- Get rid of bulky and expensive resistors, saving system cost

PAC5556AEVK3 features 55 mOhm CGD devices, supporting up to 800 W peak power with minimal cooling requirements.
- Integrated ICeGaN® miller clamp eliminates the need for turn-off current
- No need for a special GaN driver
- Integrated Current Sense helps improve thermal performance and reduce system cost by eliminating expensive sense resistors. Specifications:
