WIRELESS CHARGING

In recognition of consumer frustration at the existing limitations of connected chargers, manufacturers are increasingly turning to wireless technology to power consumer electronics. The race is on to see who can deliver high-speed wireless charging, with less power loss and where the components take up less physical capacity within the end product. Being smaller than the most commercially successful silicon alternatives and with significantly faster switching power, higher breakdown voltage, and lower on-resistance, CGD GaN transistors are perfectly placed to deliver high-speed wireless charging in support of manufacturer’s ambitions.
